      EUnetCCC Annual Meeting 2026

This year, the poster exhibition will showcase outstanding and innovative experiences from Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CCCs) and Cancer Care Networks (CCCNs) across the main thematic areas of the Annual Meeting, corresponding to each pillar of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. We are looking for initiatives, tools, practices, implementation examples or lessons learned that can inspire other centres and networks, support peer learning, and demonstrate the added value of collaboration across Europe.

      1. Thematic Categories

Applicants must submit their abstract under one of the following categories:

      1. Outstanding and innovative experiences in prevention, early detection and diagnostics
      2. Outstanding and innovative experiences in the organisation and quality of cancer care
      3. Outstanding and innovative experiences in research, innovation and clinical trials
      4. Outstanding and innovative experiences in treatment, survivorship and quality of life
      5. Outstanding and innovative experiences in reducing inequalities and building capacities

      2. Eligibility

Submitted posters should present experiences or initiatives led by, implemented within, or closely connected to a CCC, CCCN or EUnetCCC partner organisation. Proposals with no clear link to the network, CCCs or CCCNs will not be eligible.

Submissions from early-career professionals are particularly encouraged, including young researchers, clinicians, nurses, quality managers, data specialists, project managers and other professionals involved in CCCs and CCCNs.

      3. Abstract Requirements

Each abstract must be submitted in English and should include:

      1. Selected thematic category
      2. Poster title
      3. Organisation name and country
      4. Name, role and contact email of the presenting author
      5. Names and affiliations of co-authors, where relevant
      6. Short abstract of the proposed poster, maximum 200 words
      7. Short statement confirming the link with a CCC, CCCN or EUnetCCC partner organisation

The abstract should clearly present the initiative, practice, tool, implementation example or lesson learned, highlighting its relevance, innovative value and contribution to peer learning across the network.

      4. Submission Process

Poster abstracts must be submitted exclusively through the online submission platform. Submissions sent by email will not be considered.

The presenting author is responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate and that all co-authors have agreed to the submission.

      5. Submission Deadline

The deadline for abstract submission is 8 September 2026, 23:59 WET. Late submissions will not be considered.

      6. Review and Selection

Poster abstracts will be reviewed by the Annual Meeting Organising Committee. Selection will be based on:

      3. Innovative value of the experience or initiative
      4. Potential to inspire other centres and networks
      5. Contribution to peer learning and collaboration across Europe

      7. Notification of Selection

Authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process from 20 September 2026. Accepted posters will receive further instructions regarding the poster format, template and technical specifications.

      8. Poster Presentation

Accepted posters will be displayed during the EUnetCCC Annual Meeting 2026.

The presenting author of each accepted poster must be registered for the Annual Meeting and available to present or discuss the poster during the designated poster exhibition moments, if required by the Organisation.

      9. Publication and Dissemination

By submitting an abstract, authors authorise the Organisation to include the accepted abstract and poster information in the Annual Meeting materials, including the abstract book, event platform, website or other relevant communication channels related to the meeting.
